I thought I would keep this piece as simple as possible in terms of using simple shapes to show off some color design. I would say that it's definitely inspired by fashion illustration, and I just wanted to do something fun. Completion time an hour or so. Hope everyone has a nice New Years! xoxo Aurorah
I reworked it a little thanks to some advice from talented guys from AIB jumble ( thanks!)

Thanks for a Great Year,
Thanks everyone who reads this for a great year. I'm taking some time over the Holidays to get ready for an even better 2011. I've been working on loads of new paintings, and have an exciting personal project in mind. Check out the video for more info!

Franken-tash
I made this for a friend as a gift. It just took an hour of drawing and about 30 minutes of painting. First I drew Frankenstein as played by Boris Karloff. Then I quickly painted up and old piece of particle board and and then used a gloss medium to aid in both tinting and adhering the drawing to the board. Voila.
It was simple and fun to make, and I'm happy with the outcome.
