I couldn't find him when searching in the staff. Which year are you in? This is my third and final year, two first being in Norway.
The teacher in character animation, Shiobhan Fenton, is very focused on acting, much in the vein of Ed Hooks (she's even mentioned in his book). I prefer this way of teaching, as a lot of animating has to be learned on your own. We also have labs with a teacher, Chris Wyatt.
It seems like year 2 and 3 at Bournemouth, is something like the whole second year at Noroff (where I studied).
These are looking pretty decent.
